remember tv?

In the future, we won't have TV shows! We'll read stories to each other by candlelight, and play Pick Up Sticks and Lincoln Logs. Because that's all we could hastily stuff in our ruksacks on the way out of the radioactive Hot Zone, the Day After. And our stories will all be serious or sad, because laughter attracts mutants, who steal our food and our children! And the mutants aren't "misunderstood" kind, like on TV, they will actually eat your head like an apple! Run! As fast as you can!
